Materials:
* Two detergent lids (run them through the dishwasher) * Bird safe rope
Description
Ask your friends to save detergent lids. This will give you more sizes and colors than what you would normally use. Some lids fit together nicely. Some have to have the lip cut away from the inside. You can add the cut away part either above or below the lids if you would like to add a little something more. I made the mistake here of using a lid that was too deep for the bottom half and I had to switch the lids around. Once you find lids that fit together (or make them fit). Drill holes and slide on the rope. I made this one very simple, but I plan on making several more and adding beads etc to the rope. These sure save money over the store bought version.More Photos
